i got the sw 3 just in the last couple days....
but yea, three times this year when going for a five first time on a jump i accidently three'd and land clean, but not when i try.
I think im the only person on earth that can throw a seven and not a 3.

just make sure that you are going the right way then rotate with your ares and look flat over your lead sholder adn then one you have made about 270 through the spin spot your landing and stop.
Good luck

a good solid grab always helps control your spin and body position.

yea i should try a front grab or something because i always go back seat on them.
anyone ever met someone else that can throw 5's and 7's but not a staple trick 3 or am i truly one of a kind?

haha i know exactly how you feel, im always backseat on 3's, and i could never figure out why, only every once and awhile i could land solid, but my 5's were always good. i guess spinning more just keeps me on axis better.

Yeah, I dont get it, I can land 5's all day long, but when it comes to 3's I just cant land. I go backseat every time.
Its like I cant spin that slow or something lol.

I think that you guys are huckers...haha, naw jk, but seriously, if you don't have a good 3 in the mix, you don't have steeze.

just practice man.
when you throw your 3 work on throwing it so that your body is more level and forwards.

Same thing for me this year. No threes... I probably just need to spend more time in the park. There are worse things out there.

one other thing to help all of you out. Every person I have seen this year who lands backseat doesn't pop. I can't emphasize this enough. POP POP POP. It will make all of the difference in the world. Popping alows you to control the axis of your spin, where as if you just ride up the angle of the jump will naturally throw yu back seat. I would reccomend starting with a few straight airs and pratice popping up as high as you can. Then start doing the same thing with spins. You'll probobally notice a world of difference.

^yep. popping right pretty much sets you on the right track for whatever spin you're doing.

If a 30 footer makes you think of a 900 you might be a huckster.

OK...here is the jump ratio from my snowboarding days: 360:30', 540:40', 720:50', 900:60', 1080-1234871234:65'+...just a little sumthin' to keep the steeze alive. (and sufficed to be said that you can throw smaller rotations on the larger gaps for more steeze points.) keep it clean children.
