depending on how you treat skis regularly. if your into keeping the bases perfect and the edges sharp and thee top sheet spotless then yes. but if you slide rails and there you park skis. then no.
i live in Cali but go to school in PA, and i travel w/ atleast 2 pairs of skis when i go back/forth, and i don't have a padded bag really. I just stuff all my dirty clothes/ski clothes, jackets, whatever all around them until the whole bag is completely full, and i've never had anything broken
yea i have the same worry that my skis are gonna be broken or damaged on a flight and its the old kinda bag too, with no padding and the bag is small to put tons of padding around the skis, but i dont have enough money to go buy a $60 ski bag
