i know someone is goingto be like "reach for the searchbar" or some shit but chill. i searched and didnt find what i was exactly looking for. so we have 2 2'' 10 foot pvc pipes. and were wondering how to support them. screws through the top of them? what do you guys use for the base? just shove them into teh ground? and also would it wok if we used a hair dryer to warm the pipes up for curves+kinks? thanks guys.
Attach to wood with screws threw the bottom of the pipe(make hole in top if needed) and im not sure if a hair dryer will make a curve or kink. And for supports, just make the bases 3ft wide and make some side supports and you should be great.
Make a support out of wood then screws up through the wood into the pvc. As for shaping them that might work but I havn't personally tried it. Look at mine
Normal blow dryers won't get the pvc hot enough to bend easily. It can be done, and works really well, but you'll need a construction quality blow dryer.
yeah just got one piece of advice for you. Be carefull with the rail you make in the winter time. On the rail we made the pvc snapped around the kinks a lot. we had to replace it:(
my friend took a 10 ft. peice of pvc and cut it in half so he had two halfpipe looking peices of pvc. then he put a 24 in both of them and drilled from the side and then put it on like 5 post into the ground and now he has a 10 ft. flat 10 ft. down rail.
