Mainly found in UK, made up of plastic bristles. Comes in the form of Dendex (criss cross pattern) and snowflex (better and softer). Best substitute for snow, although still shit really. Search google for sheffield ski village, or mebbe i have a picture. Who knows.
yeah, i know what you mean, i had the same problem with a rolling slope. What i did wrong was that my ski on the mountainside wasn't tilted and the wrong edge began to get a grip on the slope.
haha luke are you pretendin to be american on me? you were up last nite wi me you not been up in the summer wi us yet, and yeah its shit compared to snow but its still fun and better than nothing, bearing in mind in britain most people have at the most 1 week on snow costing about $1000 so its not cheap, where as this costs $220 a year for a pass
your profile says you're from rossindale... neways rossindale isn't even worth turning on. dry slopes in general aren't worth turning on, it's all about bumps comps at stoke innit clarkey! haha
pains for pussys(at least the kinda pain dryslopes give you), if you're commited to learning tricks and technique sheffield is actually pretty good, got a water ramp an all.
in general though you're better off on a glacier in the summer. anyone who thinks dry slope is a good option is stupid. only use it if it's the only option.
i love day slopes. and for me and dom to lern tricks on a dry must mean us two have the biggest balls on this website. but for people to be scared of them means your a pussy
Mate, its not really that painful, and the jumps are not exactly huge, and to be fair i couldn't care less about the size of your balls, although i feel sorry for you if they are as big as you say they are. Does is it hurt to sit down?
i was kidding "pain is for pussies" is an expression, not to be taken literally dude.
i alreet mate, got a bit of flu like. apparently walking home at 4 int morning in newcastle is taking it' toll! haha. you getting much snow fun at the moment?
haha yep im the dom luke was talking about, and as for hurting yourself on dry slope, our kickers on snowflex, aslong as your properly covered you probably wont get friction burns, and snowflex is pretty padded and our kicker has a v steep landing therefor it doesnt hurt much really, so my balls arent quiiite as big as chuck norris' etc. , well not yet anyway
couple hundered bucks plus postage and i'll steal you some from the pile at the top of sheff ski village!
seriously this stuff is VERY pricey. snowflex runs at like £6000 for a couple of square feet that like $4000. and dendex the stuff that's not padded and open for wrist breaking loveliness is like £500 for a couple of square feet.
i'm sure you can find the company that makes snowflex... pretty sure it's called snowflex, same might go for dendex.
i posted a thread like 2 weeks ago on this, seems real cool, but if you want your owen backyard dry slope, start saving, when your 80, u mite have enuf to pull 10s in the summer
