K i tore all the legiments that attach my clavical(collarbone) to my sternum, it dislocates randomly and i don't know if its ever going to heel. question, when i dislocate by accident am i tearing the legiments again or just streching them and if this has happened to u give me some tips to speed up the healing please
i doubt this will help at all but my dad broke his collar bone in a car accident when he was my age and they put his arm in a sling and had to have it like that for 3 months. a broken collar bone cant heal so his has a knot in it... my guess is to put your arm in a sling and just wait
is your collar bone broken right now or did you do this as an old injury? if it is an old injury popping your shoulder out of it socket only streaches the ligaments and tendons which is not a good thing either...
often times people will need surgery to correct the 'popping out' problem as it becomes more and more frequent as the ligments stretch and stretch. for example on of my teachers had a really bad shoulder and finally got surgery after it fell out of place in his sleep.
the problem is that you cant fix the whole shoulder, that is why a broken collar bone can fvck you up, but i tore some ligaments behind the collar bone, dunno if its the same.
but for torn ligaments, you have to increase the blood flow through your shoulder. ligaments dont get as much blood as muscles and because of that they dont heal that good.
i had to move my shouler as much as possible, but you should def. see a doctor, ns isnt the best medical insultion you can get
I broke my collarbone maybe eight years ago and they never put me in a sling. The bone heals wrong and now the part of the collarbone that connects to my chest rolls in and out of the joint when I move my arm. There is now a very big bump there and it is also quite painful. There isn't any surgery that can fix it either since one of the largest arteries in your body is right behind that joint. If your having any problems with that area defintly having it checked out, it's not worth having it fucke d up trust me.
yeah i don't think tearing any of the ligaments because a similar problem in my shoulder. you should see a physical therapist and get a workout routine targeting the specific muscles in your clavical.
a broken collar bone CAN heal if you do the sling right, i've got a friend with 2 paramedics (i think both of them are, maybe just his dad) for parents, and he broke his collar bone, so they made him a special sling and he doesn't have a knot.
Um, this is gonna sound a little shocking but, you can't actualy dislocate you collar bone if there is still tendon. So either you have not healed at all or you lie like a crook
ook..stop trying to be a smart ass ur clavical attaches to ur sternum and that pointy bone that is near u ribs can pop out . cause mine does it when i raise my arm pass my sholder.
No the clavical is near the scapula and wat holds it down is a small ball of legiments and the legiments strech to the sternum since i tore that it can move up and down and pops out
ya i have seen a doctor my sholder is all taped up but i was just seeing if anyone else has been through it and if it has heeled propally but thanx anyways
