that style beats hucks. I mean if our freestyle world liked hucks more, then our precious crop of ski videos would be all hucks and no stylie shit ... Im gonna say its about 80:20 stylie tricks to hucks.
Realistically it should balance out because an air is judged on tech, amp, and style. So if the air time is the same between two tricks then it's tech vs. style. And I dunno about you guys but I am seeing way too many hucks beating the style these days ... actually i can't think of a time lately that style beat the huck. A true testament to this years comp and a small hometown comp that im brewin about currently. (I got 3rd with an off axis 540 tail to stomp against the first place 7 safety and the second place right fugly 7 with no grab I believe.)
I mean judges pick what they think but in general I think it's a huge problem .... cause next big air in 4 weeks I'll just put out a japical 7 and take it all which is gay cause a stylie cork 5 with a dope grab should at least contest if not beat the straight up japan 7. For shit sakes tho, if one guy throws a safety 9 he'll prolly beat my japical 7, screw it, I'll throw for the tail 9 and play it safe for the win lol. Judging is fucked.
