Your beerpong/beruit house rules

ok so im sick of being in my room stuck doing work and studying for tm so i thought this might make an interesting thread. just about everywhere ive played beerpong(beruit if your northeastern) the house rules vary so i thought id start a thread about what the rules on your home turf are.
heres how we throw down at my buddies apartment:
-one on one or two on two.
-10 cups per side, one water cup per side, 2 balls.
-start game by each team taking one ball and holding eye contact with your opponent, shoot on the count of 3 while holding eye contact, first team to make a cup gets first shot.
-2 shots per turn, take away the cup that the person made the shot in, if they make both balls they get them back to shoot again.
-a bounce in is worth 2 cups but can be swatted away.
-a shot off the wall is legit and worth 2 cups but can be swatted.
-shot off the ceiling is worth 4 cups but can be swatted.
-if you make a ball in the water cup the person who shot must either take a beer bong or drink the water cup.
-if a ball bounces off a cup and into another cup the shot counts for both cups the ball touched, but after making contact with a cup the ball may be blown out of the cup(if its spinning around the inside of the cup) or swatted if in the air.
-automatic reracks 10-6-4-3-1, but reracks can not be done in the middle of a turn(after one ball is shot)
-final remaining cup is placed in the center of the rack(my friend has actual racks to hold the cups in place)
-if you lose and your opponent has more than 3 cups left on their side the loser must bong all remaining beers.
-if the game is won by sinking both balls consecutively then the game is over.
-if not(ex. 1 cup left one ball goes in and the other misses) the opponent may take both balls and shoot until they miss.
-if an opponent loses in a shutout(sinking no cups) they must perform the "fun run" and take a naked lap around the apartment complex
yep think thats about it for our house rules. always looking for some good new rules though so post how you all play.

nice, i wish we played where we got four reracks.
i might have missed this, but do you have a rule regarding where both parnters make it in the same cup? for example, we always leave cups down until both partners have gone, and if one makes it in cup A, and his partner makes it in cup A too, then that's 3 cups, the last two of the team who made them's choosing

ah i didnt hit on that exact one but yes our rule is you can pull the cup immediately after its sunk, so if your not paying attention and the other team makes 2 balls in the same cup then it works the same as your rule, that cup goes along with 2 cups of the scoring teams choosing.
and yeah the water cup gets hit by accident sometimes, mostly by new players. one chick last weekend sank the water cup on her first shot and said where shes used to playing the water cup wins the game. ive never heard of that one but our rules are posted next to the table so she shoula read em. she was about to drink some of the nasty ass water because she had never taken a beer bong before and was scared. she pulled through tho and went for the bong.

the only differences i see are bitches blow and rerack at 2 cups.
I played at one house to that was gay. They had a rule that if the ball bounced back to the shooter then they got to shoot again.

that is a weak rule, it happens too much.
the water cup rule is more of a joke, most people just man up and take the bong(gotta do it right there and then in the middle of the game) but hey if you really wanna drink that water cup be my guest.
also the only reason we dont rerack at 2 is because my friend actually picked up some beer pong racks(he definitly couldve made them but whatever theyre nice to have and came with machine washable cups) so with the way the cupholders are set up doing a rerack at 2 and putting the cups in a straight line would create about a cup wide gap between the two.

i know that rule was the gayest house rule i have ever played. we beat them and usually the winner gets to stay at the table but we were like fuck this place we are out.
and i understand the 2 cup rack. i've got budies who have tables with holes that hold the cups where a 2 cup rack wouldn't work.

-one someone wins the other team gets a rebuttle....they shot till they miss...if they get them all you go into overtime where you have 3 cups each end 1 or 2 beers depeedning on the mood
-losing team has to drink remaininig beers

Anyway, my rules are similar to the first persons, only no ceiling or wall because we don't really have a wall and the ceiling is lame. We do not leave the cups down, because if someone hits cup A and the partner hits cup A before they take it away from the table, its automatic game over.

- re-rack on everything
- none of that bullshit rebuttles, if you lose you lose
basically its so games can go fast and a ton of people can play. and yes quarters are better than ping pong balls I SAID IT!

Real Men play 100 Cup:
row of 14 on bottom and move on up, counts to about 105 cups, so we dub it MEN's 100 CUP. NOT TO BE PLAYED BY WOMEN. PERIOD.
ReRacks at 32 and then the normal 10, 6, etc. we play on pong table in garage, so bouncing off ceiling is worth 3, off wall is worth 3, off table is 2, and from table to ceiling to cup is 4. all bounces can be swatted. If anyone even thinks of blowing out of a cup they take an immediate 3beer beerbong, no exceptions. All beer must be finished before you shoot. 4 people per team, must maintain the same shooting order throughout the game. make 3/4, get 3 balls back, make 4/4 get 4 balls back. Nobody can take a piss until the 1st rerack. Women are allowed and encouraged to drink from the sidelines and cheer/insult opposite teams. HOwever, it has been our experience that women are not capable of focusing for 210 shots worth of pong. sorry ladies. Once you play 100 cup, you dont go back.

haha thats intense man. how long does that usually take? one of my friends played 120 cup pong (60 per side) at his school for new years i only got to see pics but that was a lot of cups.
i like that airball rule suggested above, i hate when people take long ass games especially when were playing tournys.

mine are most of the same rules as you guys, however i did not hear if both balls go in the same cup, its game over...or if the person on the other team isnt paying attention to his cup that he has to drink, and you make it in that cup, its game over.

haha idk where you are, but the chicks here are really good at beer pong. You act like it takes this amazing athletic ability to play pong, and guys have an automatic advantage haha. You have to accurately throw a ping pong ball like 10 feet. Not lift a 200 lb rock, or tackle a running back. 2 of my brothers were shut out by 2 chicks last weekend. The chicks made almost everyone of their shots.

some rules for my house (now that we have a table).
if you don't make a cup in a game you have to A) Shot Gun a beer pants down or B)if it is off a keg a five push up keg stand. Or C)If neither player makes a cup it is a lap around the place naked for both players.

I just won 50 bucks playing beer pong at this prom party.. I was named the offical Beer pong Champion of Monticello High making 5 out of the six shots for my 2 man team. We only played 6 cups cause the keg ran out.. Just put it this way, the girls got a waiting list to be my partner next party

people will argue this point forever but honestly i have never been to a party (even in the northeastern US) where i have said who wants to play beer pong and someone hands me a paddle. if you say beerpong people usually know what game you mean even if they call it beruit or something else.

my only new one is, if you make a satellite cup (cup that someone is drinking from) the game is over, and that team has to clear ALL the beers on the table. It encourages people to drink their beers and keeps the game moving faster. Also a great comeback. And girls can blow, but guys just have to deal with it. Anyone who startes yelling stuff like "bitches blow! guys finger!" is considered to be a frat rat who will never get laid, and is immediatly mocked.

our rules are basically the same except for the water cup one, the ones off the ceiling and wall and instead of the automatic re-racks we only get 2 per game whenever you want to...........o ya and the "fun run" haha that made me laugh

14 cups each side, set in 2 rows of 7 wide... 2 people per team, first guy from the one team takes 3 shots... then the other team... then back to the first and so forth... 3 in = "TuffGuy" and its a sendback, once a cup is hit, its drunk then put back... if u hit an empty cup, u drink one of yours... knock over an empty and it gets stacked to the side.
