okay i want to try a back flip......the reason im posting this here is cuz ohio snow hurts...haha but its tru and if i posted it in ski gabber or trick tips they would say build a backcountry kicker in pow and tri it....but i dont have that so if i wanna tri it....wut do u suggest i do so i dont get totally broke
i'm not that good, but the backflip is one thing i can do. You have to have confidence when going for the rotation---otherwise you land on your head. Just drop your head and upperbody straight back and let your legs follow you around. Starting off, it will be easier to give the jump a good lip---it will give you a good headstart on the rotation until you get the feel for the flip. You can do it!
most people say that backs are easier than 3s. i myself can't do them, but i really dont' have any desire to learn them since you can't do them in contests anyway. but yea man, just give it, make sure commit all the way and you shouldn't have any problems. wait for a nice soft day in march, cause there should be plenty of those.
us in the snow belt without snow. get on a tramp and practice to get the rotation down. The nice thing is you can see your landing as you come around. Also it sounds gay but check out a small gymnastics place with foam pits and do it. We have a place up here in WI that we can go in on fri nights after 5o clock and its just us rallying the stuff no 8 yrs old cartwheeling. Overall it helps you create anything new.
