i now its probally a dumb question, but can u use a usb cord to get videos onto it? it doesnt work and its pissin me off

yes you can. But you can also just put your videos on the pc and then import them if you don't understand.

Tyco VideoCams generally won't be recognised by computers.


Try to install the CDs that came with it

Well what kind of media are you trying to upload, because certain types like mini DV wont work with a USB cable, you need a 1394 firewire thinger, if its like a digital camera type like memory stick you shoud be able to uplaod it to your comp and inport. If it still isnt recognizing the camera you may need a codec you dont have or some sort of software depending again on the media type.

I had this issue with my duocam, tried to upload mini DV with a usb cable, dont work so hot.
