thinkin in terms of next year, i might be lookin into getting a ski that's light, buttery, great for jibbing/park, and isn't something that's going to fall apart on me. anybody have any suggestions? i'm 5'10, 145lbs
also fujative and well anything line has to offer next year,if you dont care about like not having "ninthward" or like a name, ya know? they are cheaper, but still amazing skis.
except for the fact that i hear endless stories about delams. so don't recommend any of the cheaper skis like fujatives or invaders. i'd rather pay to get a better quality product
"a ski that's light, buttery, great for jibbing/park, and isn't something that's going to fall apart on me. anybody have any suggestions? i'm 5'10, 145lbs"
i know you're looking for the fujative but you ruled it out because its the fujative and want to be "the shit". its the best ski for you. they dont have any durability issues. you say you used to work in a shop, i dont believe that at all anymore. you wouldnt say that if you did, the fujas are solid.
i still work in a shop. i'd never buy the flat out cheapest ski on the market. what, do you think you're going to get the quality of a top-of-the-line ski paying the minumum? helllllz no. i've got a buddy with fujatives right now and he's skiing with two cracked edges and it's been less than a season. he's not even that crazy a jibber.. i want durability here folks
kid, i see more fujatives than you see skis on the hill at any given time. what makes you think they're so durable? maybe because ONE friend has them and doesn't know any other product and thinks they're OMG SO COOL AND STUFF. give me a break. it's unbelievable how many people come in for base repairs on those sticks.
dont you fucking call me kid, i think you are one of the worst members on here when it comes to talking trash and contributing next to nothing.
people come in for base repairs on every ski, dick. i have fujatives and have 4 friends with them. all fine. ive seen them come into the shop last year, for waxing. they are druable, admit it, you just want to look like a bad ass with skis that you think are better because they cost more. you dont feel "cool" saying you ride fujatives because you think people will be like "why didnt you get ar5's or something man". its why you wear orage and siver over obermeyer or like k2. for you, having "nicer" shit is a big part of it, no matter how perfect the fujatives are for your needs.
TM is very flexy but for park, no thanks. If you just want to ride tm's for a month before they are total garbage with no edges because you hit rails on occasion then yes. the only way i would buy one is if i never planned on hitting any rails or if they were a pipe ski.
Another kid mentioned MSP....fucking stupid choice also. Yes they are light as hell but they are no where near "buttery soft."
don't believe all the stupid shits on this site who are obsessed with Armada... Most have never ridden them, but claim they are a good company.
I have ridden my AR5's for less than a year, and I've got a bunch of edge cracks. Armadas are no super ski with crazy durability, they fall apart too. Just as fast as those Fujatives you claim to hate so much. By the sounds of it you should just buy the most expensive ski you can find, which are "cool". This seems to be the direction you are heading anyway
