Replying to Orage Carnaby and Noho (Shell or insulated)

I searched all over for this information, so if you have a problem with this post, you can go fuck yourself.

I'm about 75% sure that the Orage Carnaby jacket and Noho pants are just shells and not insulated... but can anybody confirm this?

And to anybody who has tried them... how warm are they for a shell? Do you generally wear another (winter) layer underneath? How are they compared to insulated jackets/pants? I live in SoCal so every ski day feels like spring skiing... so I think they may be enough... but I don't want to rule out the chance of them seeing a few Colorado powder days.
