Orage Carnaby and Noho (Shell or insulated)

I searched all over for this information, so if you have a problem with this post, you can go fuck yourself.
I'm about 75% sure that the Orage Carnaby jacket and Noho pants are just shells and not insulated... but can anybody confirm this?
And to anybody who has tried them... how warm are they for a shell? Do you generally wear another (winter) layer underneath? How are they compared to insulated jackets/pants? I live in SoCal so every ski day feels like spring skiing... so I think they may be enough... but I don't want to rule out the chance of them seeing a few Colorado powder days.
Thanks in advance...

Pretty much any shell jacket or pant will work with a microfleece layer underneath for those cold days. On super cold days I wear my Patagonia R2 under my shell and some microfleece pants under my pants, and this seems to work great.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like just the shell would be fine for SoCal.
Does anybody else know about these jackets specifically.

i work at a ski store and we have both of carnaby and noho pants.
the jacket is NOT a shell. it has quite alot of insulation and is 15000 mm waterproofing. The fabrics is very windproof and quite stiff as opposite to the nylon shells. I, myself have a carnaby ST jacket. It is pretty much the same thing as carnaby, just with the fur hood and stripes. It is extremely warm.
As for the pants, they are quite thin and the material on both is kinda denim... i forgot what its called. The pants have some insulationa and areent just a shell... bery windproof fabrics and 15000 mm waterproofing aswell.
i usually ski in 2 t-shirts and a hoodie and a jacket on... in minus 15(coldest i've skied this year), i was very warm.

Awesome! That's just the info I needed... thanks man!
Also, how do the sizes run on those particular Orage pieces? Do they run baggy or straight? I'm 6'1", 175lbs... I'm not into the "steezy" baggy-as-shit type look at all... would large be good or should I go medium?
