i would be headed out around september/october (hopefully) and i'm deciding now where i want to hit up. unfortunaetly this means i won't be able to hit up the Southern hemisphere cuz of seasonal changes, but i'm open for anywhere else. so far i have been thinking about Japan and I guess Europe. Switzerland is mad expensive though and that's where i want to go. i guess all of Europe is expensive though.
anyways, throw me some ideas and i'll go more in depth. i am really open to any suggestions.

PARK - Parks in europe are shit, however the best of a bad bunch is in La Clusaz. home of candide the fucking thovex.
POW - Verbier. its the best freeride resort in the world. its also, unfortunately one of the most expensive resorts in the world. the pertying there is the best in europe too.
VARIETY - get out to Paradiski, or Verbier (4 Valees). i have been going to verbier for the past 10 years and i still found stuff i haven't done, or stuff that i have got bored with.
Value - Livigno, italy. it is a tax free haven, as it used to get cut off from the rest of the world due to snow. thanks to the miracle of the snow plow and the car, there are no problems, other than the temptation to buy gallons of booze and millions of cigarettes!

thanks man.
how hard is it for an English/French speaking Canadian to get around in Italy? i figure Europe can't be too hard if i speak both of those.

in livigno, fucking hard. i have spanish french and english in my language repertoir (cant spell though!) it's pretty remote and the people there are quite local. they have tax free dior and prada and shit like that which is weird. its gonna be huge in a couple of years, the freeriding is sweet, (the locals dont stray from the beaten track you see), when it becomes popular, the tax exemption will be recinded.

thanks whelan, iw ill think more about italy.
also, i keep reading about the middle east. i dont know if a lot of people on this site have skied around there, but it looks SICK. i'm kinda scared of heading there with the politics being what they are. hitting lebanon though would be awesome.

also, my backup plan is to fly to BC, then drive all the way down to New Mexico hitting up all the hot spots on the way. but that will never happen.
