First and foremost...you have no idea what you are talking about. Just because you read a rediculous article written by some 40 year old virgin making 20k a year freelance writing doesn't make it accurate. It does however make him jealous of a 21 year old that's got more success in the tip of his pinky finger than he ever will in his entire life put together.
Secondly...there is no legal definition of adware or of spyware and therefore no legal ramifications of either. The term "keylogger" is being used all too broadly. Even if he had a software that "logged keystroke", which he doesn't, it wouldn't be for personal use...it's for contextual marketting. So that the ads shown can be more accurate to the user's taste. But thats not how those software work anyway...the software reads the text on a page and based upon the largest amount of matches serves up an ad based upon those matches...if you really want to know what a "keylogger" is in terms of ad serving.
His business is 100% legit. He is my best friend and anyone that wants to discredit his gold medal over some speculation and heresay can officially bow down and lick my sweaty balls.

Well Reedy, I would go ahead and say that yes, I did take what the articles said as fact, and I would definitly say that you probably know far more about this than I do. However, would you mind explaining what it is the company does do, so that I am not confused anymore? I seem to get the impression that the company is involved in making 'spyware' from your defense that since there is no legal definition, that it's ok.
I am not saying he should be punished by the IOC, as he won the gold and had a run that deserved the gold, and he is a very very good skier and athlete.
On a seperate now, is this the company you work with? I remember you 'left' skiing to work in a computer related company.

Let me clear two things up. First I know you didn't say anything about removing his gold medal...but thats the type of ludicy he's been dealing with from the media pigs. Typical, spin something negative and feed off it.
Secondly, no his company does not deal with spyware. As he has said in every interview it deals with enabling companies to manage and track their marketting spend online.
