SALOMON S912 Binding Problem

I put got a new pair of salomon bindings this year and they worked well for about 5 days. Then i noticed that i could move my toe side to side quite a bit on one side. I tried sliding the heel towards the toepiece and increasing the din. that didn't work too well. then i noticed you could adjust the tension in the toepiece. i don't want to tighten anything too much. has anybody else had this problem with salomon bindings?

Go to a shop, and let a tech look at your bindings. You've already screwed with both your DIN and your forward pressure(that's what moving your heelpiece does) so if you don't want to get hurt, let a shop tech look at them and tell you what's up.

i have the 914s which is the same binding, except the din goes to 14 instead of tweleve. i have about 4 pairs of them and they all occasionally loosen at the two piece. put ur boat in the binding and take a flat head screwdriver and tighten the screw on the side of the two piece untill it cant go anymore. that should fix the loose-ness for a while.

yea, i got the s912's and i threw a mute of this fairly good sized table, and pulled my ski right off, with the dins at like 10 or so. i was confused
Ones that are not cold, are scarcely ones at all.

thanks for the suggestions people. i went into a binding tech and said all i needed to do was tighten the toe piece spring like you said. i also noticed my toe was moving up and down a little so i tightened the big screw on the toepiece to adjust the toe height. what a difference! i'm glad the bindings are so easily adjusted and light but what a pain in the ass!
no wonder they were on sale when i bought them
