I hate how for skiing they only show the top runs. In skiing superpipe i only saw tanner, candide, jon and c.r. go. and a little bit of simon dumont. what a load of crap. is it the same for slopestyle?

yeah... but they dont have near the time to show everyones run... they have to make room for snowcross and snow motorcycle jumping of couse...

considerin moto X doesn't even belong there, and the incredibly idiotic junior sno X, then they mite have had some time to put in more then the 3 runs i saw on slopestyle. God, some1 should really file a petition against that.

it really sucks but its all about the money. hopefully lots of people thought the skiing was as kick ass as I thought it was and they'll show more of it next year.

did u notice how they showed all the snowboarder runs in superpipe and slopestyle but just a few for skiing. also they showed the qualifying for snowboard slopstyle but only a few runs of the skiing finals

Espn thinks that what ever they show is the hot thing. But moto x is really gay in the winter. They spent like 10minutes talking about how you need the backflip to win. i wanted to kill them at that point. They need more skiing

i agree with all of you. i had the same conversation w/ my roomate.
everytime they replay/recap an event it's always snowboarding. and moto x should only be in the summer x-games. They spent the whole day doing the damn moto x and then clip to tanner's run in slopestyle (for about 20sec) then right back to moto x...with backgrounds and historys of every friggin' moto x rider!!!!
they flew through the skier halfpipe, as if they had to show it, but they didn't want to. that's BS!...

No wonder skiing isnt considered as popular as snowboarding, b/c they constantly get overshadowed by other sports. The management needs to get a recap, that newschool skiing is getn hotter and hotter every year, and actually endorse it, so that they will make more and more money in the long run.

i think they a skier should have snuck onto the moto x course and hit their jump, throwing a double back over it. we'll see whose sport is more badass (becasue moto x only did 1 backflip and we did 2)

as far as the moto x is concerned. it should be in the summer, but that one aussi should have won. who cares about a backflip, looks like crap anyways. wow look at me I took my feet off. yeah its hard, so? that combo he did was sick,
though they should have showed more skiing. they need a major comp with both skiing, and snowboarding. then everyone could see how much bigger we go than them

true, however, skiing has a larger potential audience. what i mean is that almost ALL snowboarders watch or are interested in the x-games, but the skiing audience has hardly reached its potential. if we got a lot more skiers interested in the x-games, than there would be mad more skiers than boarders watching, so we would get our way and could make them our slaves.

I understand your frustration on how they wasted countless air time talking about the backflip on a motorcycle. And yes freestyle motox does get a spot in both winter and summer x-games.
But leave it alone.
I love motox. And I am amazed by the stuff they can pull.
Unless you can throw a backflip on a motorcycle don't downplay the trick.
The backflip broke the boundries on what was thought possible. Look a few years back, everyone said it was impossible.
And now they just pushed the limits, so that's why they are spending alot of time talking about it.
Let them have their few minutes of glory, honestly, they deserve it.
Think about it, they are throwing a motorcycle upside down. Not only are they going upside down but also a bike which weighs 250 pounds and then bringing it back around.
And that shit is crazy where they jump off their bike and land back on it. If they don't make it back on their bike then they just freefall and hit the ground from 30 feet up.
It is just like newschool in the sense that it was started by a bunch of guys that wanted to break from racing and regulation. There wasn't even freestyle a few years back.
Freestyle Moto-x gets my respect as they continue to push the boundries and conquer the 'impossible'

Problems with X Games-
1.) Shaun White, your good that's great, take your stupid mask off your not robbing a bank your snowboarding
2.)Moto X the sport where a bunch of hicks rev there motors and hit some jumps and kick there legs or do a flip. BOW HOWDY WOO HOOOO lets spend a half hour on coverage for this shit.
3.)Just because someone one or medaled, doesn't mean you have to rereate the scenario for me 20 times, i saw it the first dumbasses,imm naut reetawded

I know I can't pull a backflip on a MotoX bike. I respect the guys that can do that, but the funny thing is that Jim Rippey did a backflip on a snowmobile a year before anyone stuck the backflip on a dirtbike. And snowmobiles weigh a lot more than dirtbikes. I would be fine with it if they replaced MotoX big air with SnowCross Big Air.
And another thing... The announcers for the halfpipe and slopestyle events didn't know any tricks. They just made shit up. Oh well, it's better than NOT having an X-Games. Unless the U.S. Freeskiing Open was premiered on TV, that would be the shit.
REMEMBER: It's 10% equipment, and 90% rider.

yeah i was just watching ski movie 2 today where rippey pulls that backflip. the snowmobiling in that flick is pretty unbelievable. they should remove moto x and snocross and just put freestyle snowmobiling in.
