end of next month im getting cones of bone drilled out of the back of my jaw, reshaped and pinned to the front so i can get a tooth implant... im pretty sure theres plenty of you on here with fake teef... so... how much pain ami looking at? they said id probably be on my ass for a few days... but anyone got a call on how soon i could get some headache free skiing in?
I had to do the same thing. Except i needed alot of bone so they took a big piece out of my hip. I not gonna lie, its gonna suck really bad cuase it hurts alot. My only suggestion it to take alot of pain medication. Like if they tell you to take 1 every 3 hours take 2. Basically just get fucked up on the stuff for like a week or two.
your hip? owww. i broke my back and at the same time got a hairline fracture in my pelvis. it hurt thousands of times more then my back did and it was only hairline.
yeah i had a skin graft when i had a finger ripped off in a boating accident...i didnt really have feeling there so it didnt hurt so bad but i can imagine that a bone graft is gonna hurt a little more that sounds way more core to me. good luck man.
yeah they reattached it...it was kinda hangin by like a little muscle...it got caught in a rope on my sea doo and it was like a slipknot around my hand and just crushed it like a turnicut and basically my pinky finger took the worst of it and was mutilated...microsurgeons had to take veins out of my foot (vein grafts i guess) and put them in my pinky and they had to do skin grafts on 3 of my fingers. They all work perfectly fine now and i have full feeling and you cant even tell anything happened unless i show people..they did a real good job
no idea about the head, but someone i know just had one done from their hip and had it put into her arm and she was walking around the next day with very little pain.
