so this weekend i underrotated a 7 and managed to strech some muscle in my left hip (it didnt hurt that much when i fell). i can walk fine (and do everyday movements), but when i bring my left knee up to my chest, i feel acute pains in a muscle near my left hip. does any 1 no what this is??? and recommendations on how to recover and if i can ski??
i fell on my hip last week. having pains like you i went to physio and my pelvis has locked locked on an angle so im getting adjustments to straiten it out.. go to physio
It is a hip flexor or hip pointer and they can be painful. It probably hurts when you raise your knee up above your pelvic area. You need rest and look up ways on google to help it.
it takes a while to heal. I would rest all week and do whatever stretches or recommendations people suggest online and hope it gets better. if all else fails, take pain killers and you can mask the pain for the trip.
i got the same kinda thing just recently. i was the gym climbing and i didn't stretch enough and went for a pretty high overhaning heelhook and it didn't hurt when i did it, but after i sent the route my hip hurt.
