t hat would be sick to put up like raised up rails and you could spin onto them and shit and slide them and drop back in for the next hit, i dont think that would really work though

did you watch hatveit/farve in x-games? there is definitly potential to get some serious air switch and throw down.

yeah throw some like coping down on the pipe, or put a rail up like 10 feet above the pipe and fly up onto that

no i did and don't get me wrong-i thought it was ridiculous how huge they were going. but they also lost a good bit of amplitude. i really want to see a coping be incorporated into the halfpipe

I think Switch is the new shit in the halfpipe too. Dropping switch is a little out there because you get less amplitude on your first hit but i think that more switch tricks in a run is where its heading

hatveit was getting 14 according to the expn fucks, lets call it 12, which might be a low estimate, then lets say dumont does a 16-18 foot truck 5, I am saying with practice and more speed that 15-18 is possible, it would be nuts but so was dumont busting 18+ a few years ago

a slopestyle course built into the middle of the pipe, that was after a rail or tabletop you can turn and boost a foot outta the pipe in a switch 12

In reference to comments on the amplitude of switch hits and where they are heading.
I have personally seen switch hits in the high teens. Chris Turpin was dropping in and hitting Huge switch flat sevens days before Heading to X the year he blew his ACL.
Also I have pictures of Andreas hitting switch downside sevens in at least the fifteen foot mark during last years WSI superhit in the pipe..(this hit won him the comp.)
I will likely post one of those pics when I get back from work here in the city this week.

they put those in at mammoth sometimes. a 10 foot rail that goes into the snow just like a coping. they are fun to fuck around on

Although it didnt seem to bad this year, but how about learning to hit both sides of the wall. All this alley-opping on only the left wall...?

doing spins all directions....in the pipe theres 8 different ways to do a 5. ally oop is harder with some tricks and downhill is harder with switch tricks.....there is so much that still can happen in the pipe

i don't know if the whole coping thing would be a good idea for a pipe, i can see somebody getting caught up on it trying to come back in and wrecking themself on it.

2 pipes. side by side, then you would see mad transfers. people would also fuck themselves up if they got it wrong!

i think that the two pipes side by side would be cool, like transfers, but i really think they should do like deck tricks such as manuels and have rails, then drop back in

i've been sayin this for a long time now...
they should have rails and wall rides along the sides and/or make the pipe curve so thers hips and stuff and make different parts off the wall higher
all of this is similar to skateboarding

maybe 1260's and bigger 10's and more of what Andreas Hatveit was doing at X.
All times are Eastern (-5)
