i always have trouble deciding. i usually just keep them tight and then loosen them up on the chair. you have no control if they are loose especailly if you are dropping switch

I usualy go with them lightly buckled for the first two runs and then tighten them down after that, but not so much that I lose circulation, then I pop them lose for the chair ride, This way I never lose circulation and always have plenty of blood in my feet. What can actualy help your skiing is if you do a couple of beginer slopes with you buckles oppen/very lose this then works on you ballence.

as tight as i can get them with my hands on top, 7/10 over the arch and nothing on the toe-buckle. i leave those undone for good luck. its a superstitious thing, plus i have wicked bunyuns from wearing ski boots all these years.

Tight, more control. 3 on the bottom two, and 2 on the top two

My feet are numb for the first 2-3 runs of my day, I keep them pretty tight. I'd buckle them a bit looser for park because ski control isn't quite as important there, but I ski the mountain.

my boots are loose, i only buckle them to the first notch, and they usually come un done when im skiing, i hate them tight because it kills so much when you land backseat with really tight boots... since i've loosened them this year i've never had a problem with shinbang

My Ski Boots were as loose as a dublin whore until a few months ago. I started tightening them and got way more control but my feet get all effed up. Im not sure what to do...

depneds, on my boots (dalbellos) the flex is altered with how tightly the boot is buckled. if im jumping or really skiing, i crank them down fairly tight. if all im doin is jibbin, loosen those suckas up for mad amounts of flex. nosepresses, butters, brokens, royales, soo much easier with the boot opened. skiing switch is better too, cause it lets you bend your legs a ton more.
