Re gortexing ski pants

Has anyone who has done some re-gortexing have any advice? I was planning on just getting that liquid wash in stuff from REI, does it hold up well if you do it?

fyi: goretex is a fabric. regoretexing would be difficult :)

the sprays and washes that you can get from rei or mec are good at making the outside layer of your clothes 'bead' water again. I used the spray on my pants because the inside had fleece and i didn't want that to get covered.

re waterproofing i think he means...but yeah i'd get the spray stuff...what you do it spray it all over your pants so it's saturated, let it dry for a little while then throw it in your dryer til it's fully dry
