ACL Surgery...Boo.

im actualy laying in pain right now as well, had my surgery 2 days ago. usually like the first 2-3 weeks are uncomfortable as shit, its gonna suck for sure. but youll get used to it after a few days. last year i was on the couch for a week after my first srugery then drove from CA to NC...so you could at least still semi do shit a lil while after the surgery. good luck wit recovery, i had an ACL replacement (i have some dead guy/donors acl now) and a meniscus repair...it was like torn in half and flipped upside down in my knee...so im out for a few months. as for recovery, your knee is going to feel really weak for a few months, definately take it easy and do not push it too hard during that period.

i had my meniscus fucked up playing soccer a few weeks ago. had it operated on a couple of days ago. i'm not supposed to play sport for six weeks. i fell down hard 5 minutes ago on my backyard rail, my knee is killing me now!

Word, I got two screws in there right now....22 staples closin up my three incisions haha. I'm done for 6+ months....

i get mine done february 23rd...they are taking part of my patella(sp) tendon from my good knee and using it as the ACL in my bad one. theyre also fixin up my meniscuses. its gonna suck

I got my ACL surgery Dec 30. It was intense pain for the first few days due to the bone pain. Once that subsided there was mild pain from the incisions. My worst pain personally was the annoying ache of my legs muscles deteriorating during those weeks because the pain killers did nothing for it. The other pain went away after a few percs..I highly recommend the percs. I was able to get fully off of painkillers by 3 weeks though. Good Luck with your recovery. It sucks but it gets better as you go.
