this is fucking ridiculous. like three people actually realized how right i was on this, and thanks to you guys for that.
the rest of you should give up skiing right now. if you cant move past slopestyle skiing and you cant realize that theres more to skiing htan just park, then you should seriously find a new hobby. because thats like saying your going to play football, but just so you can kick a field goal. theres waaaaaaaaay more to it than that.
i cant believe this. The worst part about it is, neither Tanner nor Simon is "the BEST" if you absolutely had to pick one. Simon doesnt have anywhere near the big mountain skills that other people do, and Tanner doesnt go full throttle (and fuck off if youre going to bring up the switch over chads. It was a shaped in-run, a shaped jump, and an almost perfectly shaped landing. thats not big mountain, thats a backcountry jump.
thats another thing that pisses me off. 90% of you think of "big mountain" as booters in the backcountry. WRONG. thats not even close. Big mountain skiing is what Jeremy Nobis, Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, Seth Morrison do.
Lets just say its probably a good thing all of you live in different places. Because i seriously want to kick every one of your asses who says Tanner or Simon is the best skier in the world,
the whole point of this thread was "who's better". yeti made it a hate on park rats that only do that and think tanner is the best thread.
my question is why do you fucking care at all? its not like its hurting you if some kid THINKS tanner is the best. fuck, i like my turkey with ketchup but i dont get the fucking inquisition when i eat it. this isnt about "whos the best skiier all around". go ressurect something else and talk.
Actually, I believe in Ski Movie 2 he had a few rail shots, but that's neither here nor there.
Put Tanner or Dumont on a 55* slope and they'll piss themselves. Put Seth at the top of a shaped in run or 60+ Table in the park, he'll probably strait air it.
well it really depends what your talking about. i think dumont completely owns in pipe. in park i think its close but i think tanner is a little better. if your talking about and overall better rider than i would have to go with tanner on that one i guess because i really havent seen anything out of the pipe or park from dumont
tanner is better without a doubt, just watch their video parts... dumont skiing big mountain...??? dumont hitting huge backcountry kickers...??? dumonts steeze...???
