i'm getting a pirhana

i'm going to get it tonight. yep, a redbellied pirhana. it better live longer that daves gold fish. i also got 2 other little fast fish for it to chase around, i hope it doesn't eat them

actually it's not good to just feed them live fish. you should feed them a wide variety including steak, chicken, shrimp(live or not) specially formulated pellets, etc.

they can be if they are hungry. you can keep smaller fish in as long as they are faster and small enough to hide. i'll take some pics when it gets big

dude set upa competition. call it 'toonie fingers'... when it gets big, starve it for half a day, and put about 5 canadian toonies at the bottom of the tank. get your friends to go over, and one by one try to get the toonies... if they catch them, they get to keep the money, but if they get caught first... oh no :O if only parker brothers would buy my game :(

well i got it a few hours ago. it's funny as shit. it acts all calm untill the other fish come close to it, then it just snaps. haha, good shit. i got it at a local aquarium store, they only sell fish

I was drunk as shit at an off campus frat party once and everyone thought it was cool to feed the pirhanas big ass strips of bacon. They wouldn't fricken eat them! So i went on a tirade about health conscious pirhanas and then proceeded to walk into a big overhanging sign and stumble down some stairs.

yo what size tank do you have? ive got a 46 gallon. Ive got a clown knifefish, a silver arrowana, and a tiger oscar. its fun to feed them feeders but its really not worth the money and its not good for the fish to be on live fish only diet. I get feeders a few times a month and i taught my oscar to jump completely out of the water and eat out of my hand. my friend used to have a pirhana that he fed hot dogs every once in a while. But i think he normally fed it frozen brine shrimp. aggressive fish are awesome. good luck with yours. my only advice is be careful how much you feed it because its easy to over feed them then they get unhealthy and can out grow your tank fast.

i only have a 20, a lot of people say that's not big enough, but i only have one redbelly, so it should be fine

shut up. don't make up dumb stories. first off, if a pirhana bit you in the nuts, you'd be castrated. second off, by the time it would get big enough to jump that high out of the water it would be too big to fit in the toilet, and finally, it would be too scared it wouldn't bite you, it would just hide.

it was funny though rocketboy...gotta love newbie made up stories. one time i swallowed a pirahana and then puked it back up just for fun. when i puke him up he was holding my stomach in his teeth. it hurt a little.
