pro's autographs...

first of all, let me get something out of the way. I think it is neat to get somebodies autograph but I don't go absafuckinglootly balistic. It is stupid to be obsessed over a person so much (unless it is a she and is hot)







with that out of the way-
I got Jon Olsson's autograph after the pipe in the x-games on one of his oakley posters. he was either really tired, chill, mellow, or anoyed with his score and tired of writeing his name-or a combination of all of them. I don't know if his signature was crappy or normal. it just looked like a wayvy line. I don't even know if it was his first name, last name or both...
The reason I think this, is because I also have Rex thomas's autograph and it wasn't half assed.

is that how all the pros are?

I understand it gets anoying-being a pro and getting followed everyware, so this is not a complaint, I am just woundering. I am content and don't really too much of a shit about autographs however they are cool to show to all my friends. like I said, I am just woundering...



I've heard that they can't give out there real signatures because they are worth money. I think that is a load of shit but am I wrong?

rex's first name is good but lastname is shit.
hibberts is kinda fucked.
jordan monk is really fucked
sarah burks is like perfect.
tanners was cool but is shit now.

im not a autograph slut but the pros should atleast take the time to sign a decent autograph.

and i often thought that maybe they perposely mess it up a little so people cant reproduce it and make a profit.

or maybe its just cause hey, most pro skiers dont have a grade 9 education and have the penmanship of a penis.

and that was a generalization about the grade 9 thing, so dont lose it if you know someone who has a grade 10.

dion signed a poster for me and a friend from the the phil(s). dont bother pros for autographs, unless its an official signing, they're just paid to ski, do you ask an electrical engineer for they're autograph?

Autographs are dumb. Who gives a crap if they signed their name. Hell, be a parking meter maid and get all the autographs you want.
Autographs are dumb. I have Seth Morrison's x 10 and I could really care less. He gave me free shit. That's so much better.

whenever im at a national bike race, pros are everywhere and they just feel like regular people. I ride on the lifts with them and just chill. Im not about to pull out a pen and ask for an autograph. but if i was to they should be fine with it.

PRO SKIERS ARENT 'JUST PAID TO SKI' THEY ARE PAID TO REPRESENT THEIR SPONSERS THE BEST THEY CAN AND MAKE THEM LOOK GOOD AND THAT INCLUDES BEING COOL TO FANS.

cr johnson came to one of my mogul comps at squaw w/ posters and was waiting for people to get them signed but no one wanted them...they even announced it...I wanted a poster but i felt like a dumbass asking so i didn't

I'm only saying this because if you think about it pros have a great job. exept for autographs and sponsorship paperwork and shit like that it is all fun and games. or atleast that is the way I see it. besids all that shit all they do is ski. They get paid for something they LIKE to do because they are fucking good at it. or atleast I should think that they like to do it. So really I should think they should handle signing some autographs.
