what do you guys think about one-piece suits, i think i wanna get that orage corduroy one in the sia pics. either that or that burlap-looking stuff that corey wore at the open.
they're stupid. what, are you going to wear your snowpants around the city? or just buy another jacket for that. what the point in a one piece? is it the cool, trendy thing to get? they're like one footers. pointless and gay. dumont wears it because it's free, and for publicity. oakley knows a bunch of silly noob kids are going to start buying it just because dumont was wearing it, and frankly, it's a good marketing strategy.
i sense the sarcasm, but when the product is stupid and they have everyone thinking it's cool and the newest trend that they OMG have to get.. mad props to them
One pieces have always been more functional in skiing. When you fall, you don't have to worry about snow coming under your jacket. And they are usualy lighter than pant/jacket combos, and warmer for their weight since it shares body heat throughout. Maybe thats why people like to ski in them? Because they are more functional for skiing? and maybe because they look cool too?
Some one pieces look sick. All khaki ones and the Dumont one are sick. others, like the bright orange-patterned one that Oakley made last year(or maybe this year I don't know) was a little much for me.
Isn't it funny that we are getting back to fluorescent colored one-piece suits?
or maybe they are warmer and more comfortable, and especially good for powder days. Why would you give a shit if someone wants to buy it, people can do what they want.
dude, it's the opposite of practical. practical would be buying one jacket you could use for all situations. what, are you going to wear your onepiece to school? in the city on a cold day?
one peices have been around forever, simon is just rockin old school, I bet 20 bucks that there was a near identical one peice in the 70s, probobly came in neon pink and yellow as well. Oakley is just about sickness, so respect. Its just fucking clothing anyways.
hahaha..you're another one of those anti-trend retards...Well for your info I have a onepiece and it is the warmest, most comfortable, steeziest piece of clothing that has ever had the privelege of touching my body. Also I have only seen one other person on the mountain wearing one in my 40+ days skiing this year, so i wouldnt really consider it trendy.
As far as it not being practical, i highly disagree. One-pieces are without a doubt alot more practical than a jacket and pants while skiing. warmer, more comfortable, and snow never goes down your pants when you fall.
Also, I dont think its really a big deal to have another jacket to wear around? I dont particularily like wearing a ski/snowboard type jacket with my street clothes anyway, so i have a different jacket that i dont wear skiing.I know you think you're super cool because you are "different" or "anti-trend", but you're arguments have no validity.
One peices are so sick, the orage ones ven have plenty of zippers in the front to piss out of so now there is no reasone why they arent practical. they do everything a ski jacket was made to do, keep you warm, keep snow out, be comfortable, they may not be you choice to wear around town but then again they werent made for that were they
