Replying to Spleenal injuries

So tuesday, I took a hit, and went down hard. I ruptured my spleen, separated my shoulder and collarbone, and broke some ribs. The other things really don't hinder me, because that's easilly fixed. But my spleen is the bitch. I'm under house arrest for a week, and then they told me the recovery is a few months long. Has anyone else ruptured/lacerated/had a spleen removed? What was your recovery time. I'm hoping to make a trip to Seattle next week, roughly a week after rupturing it. Should I be ok if I'm taking it easy? And how long was it before you were allowed on the slopes again?
