Commander of the Silent Army
Viva La Resistance!
I got so battered last night that I had to send my clients around the corner so I could run behind a tree to be sick. Unfortunately I fell into a snow hole under a pine tree and the impact of falling into an eight foot deep trench made me vomit on myself-love Bawbsy....

tgis movie is the greatest movie i have ever seen. EVER.editing, filming, music, and riding, are all the best of any ski/snowboard movie iu've seen, i got it from my friend and it basically played non stop until someone else took it from me. i am considering buying it even.

AFTERBANG is the only snowboarding movie i own, and the only one that i think is the best. it would be better if travis rice had a seg. in it, but the riders and music are out of control.

I got a chance to watch Afterbang a bunch of times this weekend and I was really impressed. It's definately one of my favourite movies (ski or snowboard) of the year. It's quite a 'happy' movie, fun music and the riders aren't really trying to rep a 'persona' or attitude for the camera, they're just out there doing some crazy ass shit. Great movie.

Yep, afterbang takes the cake. It's what skiing movies should aspire to be - fun. Good varied soundtrack, right amount of lifestyle, progressive varied riding, and subtle editing.
Check out standard's Notice To Appear as well, It's also a sick vid.

** I personally believe skiing is gaining soul. It's great to see racers ripping the pipe and boarders crossing over to skiing. If anything is taking away from the soul of skiing, it's the skiers who are in it for the wrong reasons, and the ones who are in chat rooms bagging on other people's style when they should be skiing **

parkers fastplant rails and cliff drops were absolutly retarded cool.... same with oksannens butter into everything. and any movie that has secret codes to see the secret segments is obviously a winner...

yeah, the amount of 'buttering' in that movie blew me away. It ruled.

It's a different JP Solberg, the skier is from Quebec, JP Solberg the boarder is from some Scanner country. Kinda like the two Jeremy Jones, except they both board.

It's all about Jussi Oksanen. That guy butters into every jump! I also love Travis Parker and Joni Malmi's segments, they were sick.
