It's a great idea in THEORY but I think it overall was a failure in practice. The idea of having one set of bindings for all-mtn, park, pow, whatever skis is cool as fuck but it was too heavy, not very durable, etc... if they figure it out and get it to be lighter, it is the future of bindings.
too heavy? IT WAS LIKE 1.5LBS HEAVIER THANK ANY OTHER BINDING, fucking god damn you little pussies jump on the bandwagons and go by what you see all the time... i rock the r12s and i love it, there isn't a safer binding on the market. yea i said it.
yes they do come with the quickmount, and they weren't that much heavier, just felt like it holding them cause they were one piece. actually the only problem is that they were not very durable.
actually I'm pretty sure there are no more quick mounts bro. I've skied every one of the '07s except the regular chronic (cuz its unchanged) and none had quickmounts.
well I'm glad you said that about look/rossi, but word is that they don't put the quickmount inserts into their prototypes, but really you'd know better if you would have asked them about it.
