Replying to New boots

So right now i have atomic aft 11 boots. They are comfy and fit good but they are way stiff and i only weigh 140 lbs. I am thinkin that i want some softer boots that will prevent shin bang a little more. The questions is whould i wait for those spk's next year? Do you think they will be able to perform all mountain? Or should i pick up a pair on sale at the end of this year? Any sugggestions. And yes i would try them on before i bought them.
