does anyone on here buy and trade stocks? i need to make alot of money for college next year and i was just wondering how i would get started trading and if there were any stocks that i should get involved with. thanks
Do not venture into the stock market to save money. Neveeerrrr... It's only speculation, not an investment, and as I guess you may know, you could (and most likely will) end up owing money.
you wont make enough money for college in the stock market, if you invest money now, you will earn roughly 10-12% returns on however much you invest. And thats if you invest in a company with a positive future. DONT DO IT! Sell drugs man, its the only way, push weight.
You're an idiot if you think you can just jump into the stock market and begin to make money. Yeah there is a lot of luck, but there is a lot more wise investment planning.
For the kid who said i did the stock market in economics...It is NOTHING like that in the real world. You can't just buy whenever you want. There has to be certain openings for your shares to be purchased and sold. It is so easy to make money in the fake stock projects.
I hold shares in 3 different companies that I have researched every last one of them to the bone. I suggest you learn about the stock market before you try and make money in it.
Its hard to tell if you have the right specs to go into the stock market. It sounds like you want to trade stocks without a stock broker so im hoping you have some background as a business consultant or something business related. If you don't its always good to do your homework and put a lot of research into how the stock market works and how to find the companies with a positive outlook. Lets say you get to the point of where you in with a good company, now you constantly need to be on the lookout for any faults that that company has had that will make the price of your share(s) drop considerably. Sometimes you can't even see a company on the verge on bankruptcy because its quite possible that they are forging business documents that show positive economics for the company (something like what ENRON did).
I may have confused some people but to sum it all up for you I suggest that you find a couple jobs to pay for university or get a stock broker until your comfortable enough to try stocks on your own.
stock tip right here!!!! buy sirius satellite radio (siri) because they just got over a lawsuit so now they will rebound , there stock bottomed out at 3.50 i think and is steadily rising so i suggest you buy soon. look it up.
