Ski pole into mouth

So who has done the face plant into pole. I did it yesterday at Breck. My lip hurts so bad. But the funny thing is I have smith poles...And the end of my pole have SMITH imbedded into them. Well now I have a little MI where I hit my pole. HAHAHAHA!

i did last year, hit right under my eye, i over shot this kicker waaaay too much! people actually taught i was dead, i landed with my pole first and the eye right into the pole. passed out and bled like shit from my face! coolest thing i have ever done on skis! have to try again

ive done that in Moguls... doesn't feel too good.
last year my thumb stayed sprained all season, cause i did a rail bent it back with my pole, and everytime it was close to healing it would happen again...fat thumbs are so hot.

haha I took one to the throat one time. It crushed my trachea and I couldn't breathe and I was in some hairy moguls on Skogans it was so horrible. I could breathe out but not in it seemed until i grabbed my throat and squeezed from the sides and then I could breathe. Hurt like a bitch though.

I did that shit in a bump contest, split open my lip, but I still stuck my 3 (excluding the pole plant to the face) and skied down. i just thought I was bleeding from inside of my mouth. I won the duel, but a coach from another team came up to me and said I needed to get that checked out. I was bummed I had to go get stitches instead of getting to compete, but skiing down vail with blood spewing everywhere was pretty funny. People gave me some sweet looks.

did it 6 days ago. Pole to chin to biting tongue to blood. Good times. take off of jumped turned to slush and it was too late to bail out so I massively undershot and landed hard on the deck

never done it to my face but i have done it to the balls and afterwards i layed there in the middle of a run 4 about 10 minutes. it hurt soooo badly. i know a kid who did it to his eye, broke his goggles and needed stiches.

ok, that's one of the worst injuries i could imagine... sure, breaking a leg and stuff like that would definitely suck and the injuries i've had have all sucked (multiple broken thumbs, collar bone, more concussions than i can count, and the occassional bruise, sprain, strain, pulled muscle, etc.), but something like that could just be fucking scary as shit. my dad watched a kid die when he was younger during a little league baseball game when the kid was playing second base and another kid slid into him and he caught the kid's cleats in his throat, crushing his throat. i can't even begin to imagine how scary it would be to die like that. you're playing baseball, having a good time, and then suddenly your entire world is completely fucked.

i did it to my chest, which snapped my flimsy pole in half. its good to have weak, thin poles in these situations.

I did the exact same things with my poles, i also have my teeth marks indented in the pole too. But i started to use really small poles, so no more face plant into pole.

it happened to my cheek bone/nose, my nose was dripping blood and the blood was all over the snow, the next day there was a huge brown spot there, and i also got a black eye

I took one to the lip/nose. My nose was slighty bruised and I had a fat lip for a day or two, my nose is still alittle sore. Hurt a bit.

my firends who raced used to play a game where u put your pole at your nuts and lower the end to the ground, whoever lasts longer wins but cheating is encouraged (hitting the other person's pole) I took some joey's pole to my face when he threw it trying a switch 1 on the flat, went right into my mouth and luckely didnt do anyhting cept pinch my lip where the basket was.

i never took a pole to the face, but took a pole to the kidney on my first day out this season in a mogul field... damnit, i was just fucking excited to be skiing and was way too enthusiastic! anyway, i got a big ass hematoma which was interesting. i never even knew what a hematoma was until i googled "bruise bump" or something like that...

i did that 2 weekends ago very unpleasant rihgt into the teeth but wats even worse is the chin off the knee wiht an open mouth and they jsut slam together and u get a big headache

i was racing back in the day and i took a ski pole "pow right in the kisser, pow right in the kisser, pow right in the kisser" It literally pirced my lip you could see through it, 7 stiches later i was skiing the next day, i put a yard by yard blood stain at the bottom of the race course.

yea, i was dicking around switch, went for a tuck, popped the pole into the ground, and hit me right in my adams apple, and wiped my neck back
it hurt for a good 3 days to breath in, and it left a big cut
