These are fans of every NFL team that didn't play tonight who are ashamed to be a fan of a league that allows such a mockery of a game to take place on the biggets stage. This is a serious issue the league has to look at long and hard because officiating has been a major issue in the league throughout this season. It has only been compounded when the championship game is determined by poor officiating that turn the momentum of the game.
With the out-pouring of anger, it's clear that this is a major issue. If you're not a Steelers fan, there are major concerns about the legitamacy of the game. Some of us have felt more fulfilled watching professional wrestling than the game that took place tonight.

I agree that the refs made some really bad calls at the worst times, but this happens in every officiated sport, it's unavoidable. You are right though, they should take a long hard look at what happened, and try to implement some changes, place a ref permanently in a replay booth or something and give him the ability to overturn calls on the field.

i do agree officiating was prety bad, but you cn't forget some of the guidlines on the overturning thing, unless it is undisputable that the call on the feild is wrong then they can't change it, and ben was way too close to make a DEFINATE call overturning the standing on the field. And with reguard to the offensive pass interference with the seahawks, the receiver didn't need to push off the defender, he could have very likely done the same move w/o the push and still have gotten the td, its the fact that he clearly pushed off that the call was made. offiating does need lots of work but seriously shit happens
