I was there, sidelined cuz im still rehabbing from acl reconstruction, but i was really pissed at the lack if skiiers. There were like 50 snowboarders killin it and one skiier. Props to whoever it was that was ther if hes on NS. But that dude was the only one reppin skiiers. And some snowboard bitch goes "whats up with the skiier, tell him to gte out of here" There holding one again next year and i wanna see some more skiiers representing. Im not sure why there was only one, did ppl just not know about it?

I was there and it was pretty lame and I have to say that I have nothing against snowboarders most of my friends snowboard but these guys at he rail jam seemed really arrogant and cocky. I didn't want to watch because I didn't want to blow up there heads even more.
I give the one skier props for even showing up but damn if you go to a rail jam as the only skier make sure you can ride the rails! He couldn't hit anything w/out falling and the snowboarders were laughing. I would have love to see a skier killing it up there to show those cocky ass snowboarders that it's not all about them!

Thats too bad that the skier couldnt ski well, just another stereotype that skiers arent suppose to be in the "stunt park"

ha are you kidding. Anywhere in all of central will have crazy rails. If you go to the resivior, you could slide the bridges over the bridle(i think thats what its called). Itd be super dangerous but sick to see it greases

i bet there is some sick shit in the city to slide but good luck with the lack of snow. it hardly snows there because its warmer/pollution/big buildings and they just plain pick up the snow and move it to melt it (i'm from the bronx and go to the city all the time with my friends)

They had one urban box and one kink rail. The rail was really sketchy looking and I only saw a couple of kids hit the rail they were mostly on the box.
I accidently walked into it, I happened to be in the park if I had know I would have posted ahead of time and brought my gear also. It was really lame, hopefully next year they do a better job. I was really mad because the snowboarders were so cocky I would have loved to have seen a skiers put them all to shame!!

I really should have posted info about the event... sorry! My coworker's friends organized it and I totally forgot about it, primarily because it was touted as a "snowboarding rail jam"... yeah, I should have had a group of skiers crash the event... oops!
It always pisses me off when things like rail jams are only for snowboarders.
