so i borrowed my friends ipod, a 4G, and i updated the firmware. it told me that i needed to plug it into an external power source, but i dont have one. it wouldn't boot, so i tried resetting it, but the only thing it does is shows me a picture of a power source plugging in to an outlet.any suggestions?
just go get one of those ipod USB chargers that plug into power points, if you run the battery right down the only thing that brings it back to life is a wall outlet, you cant charge them through comps when they're completely flat
did you just restore it? casue if you do that and it still has battery it drains it all or somethign and you have to plug it in...try to find someone w/ an ipod charger
are you serious? its not because its dead, its because you need to plug it into an external powersource to complete the update. they arent troubles, its supposed to happen. so my suggestion is: plug it into an external powersource!
