Kayak Rails

first off, how many of you guys whitwater/or playboat kayak? I really wanna get into some of that in the summer, it looks real fun. If you guys have any tips on gear, or anything, please tell me, because there is some class 3 and 4 rapids near where i live. But I was wondering, how the hell do the kayakers do the rails? that stuffs crazy.

ive never seen a kayaker do a rail. post a pic or vid, im very interested in seeing this
