The book is awesome too. They messed up a few characters in the movie (Spud, mainly) but it's still pretty good.

ITS ABOUT HEROIN ADDICTION

heroin, and more specifically heroin addiction, does not exactly allow for non weird experiences and situations.

next time you're at the video store please ask the available employee for a 'normal' drug movie. please tell me what he/she says to you.

the thing i dont get about trainspotting... is the jacket says its like... a witty comedy or something like that... man was that a let down... no no, electrifying and hilarious... i guess people getting fucked up and shitting the bed is funny?

it's a black comedy; you are caught laughing at terrible things, like when they beat the shit out of that tourist and take his money and jacket. and yes, i love that movie.
