if i were getting a park ski and it came down to AR5, Scratch FS, Fuji and invaders, which would you guys suggest? i really like the invaders but am somewhat concerned about the construction problems everyone is having..however 367 + shipping for brand new invaders and new px12 bindings is a great deal and is very hard to pass up...what should i go with here? if anyone has any good ski/binding deal hit me up
ar5 is a great all around ski, i personally don't like my scratches( to stiff for my likings) my friend has nothing bad to say about his fugis, they have been doing very well everywhere. that is a very good deal on invaders with bindings, i have heard they are alot of fun, line should warranty any delams and shit as long as its not super rider inflicted
personally id go with either the scratch;s or the fuji's, they have th ebest warranties from the companies and they hold up really well, the other two arent as reliable
yeah i like ar5 i hear its a great all around ski but i have my skogens that i love for all mountain ski and just want a park ski for now but since its halfway thru the season im thinking maybe wait till the summer or end of season to buy park skis? then i could have them for CoC this summer, i donno it's down to invaders and fujis cause i can get invaders with px12 for basically 400 shipped and fujis with scratch binding for 390 shipped..what do you guys think?
yeah well i havnt been able to find a great deal on ar5 so if anyone knows one...also to the dude about ninthwards...i really dont know anything about them other than phil belanger switched over to them cause he wants a younger company but i just hear so many people raving about them...what's so great about them and which model should i check out? Mick D? i think thats the one i hear everyone talking about...any other suggestions for great park skis are appreciated greatly, i just want the best
ok well maybe not the best but something that wont delam hella quick and is just a freaking fun ski at a great price, thats why i like the invaders so much
just a warning, if you've read some of the comments levinthal has left on here, he explained that there has been some problems with delams on the invader, though they have completely fixed that on next years model. but you could probably get this years cheap and then rivit them if they delam. i have skied a pair of beaten to crap STLs that have been rivited, and the rivit doesnot affect the performance at all.
anyone know what the pricing is gonna be like on next years invaders? i remember chronics last year werent too pricy then they jumped cause they were so popular...seems like the same thing might happen with invaders tho correct me if im wrong
yeah i think im gonna get invaders over fujis but still donno if i wanna wait till next year...if i do go with invaders and they delam, is rivetting easy? i called a local shop and they said they dont rivet so is it self application only or do some shops do it?
do you guys think eventho im 5'11'' and weigh 180, a 168 scratch FS could be a good choice for park ski? i ski 178 skogens so thats a 10cm step down would that just be stupid or would that be sweet for a park ski?
