I live in Holland and I'll graduate from high school next your (hopefully) well after that I want to go to college in the US or couple years later to get my master there. So does anyone here knows a good college or university with good skiing possibilities? Thanks!
NO NO NO!!!!!!! NO NO NO NO NO!!!! Do not come to the US to ski and then go to the east coast. That is like movng to Europe to ski and going to Scotland. The east coast sucks so bad. Come out west. CU Boulder is where I go to school. It's freaking awesome- I ski 3 days a week at Breckenridge, Vail, Keystone, A Basin...and sometime Beaver Creek. There are plenty of foreign students here and everybody is cool to them. Check it out at Colorado.edu
Oh, and don't listen to anybody who tells you to go to ANY CMC school. It is a joke and everyone in the state of Colorado makes fun of you if you go to CMC. CU has a really good business school- arguably the best in the entire Rocky Mountain region and western US between Kansas and California. The only school that is up here with us is the University of Denver, which is also a really good school.
no one ever mentions Sierra Nevada College. I can thorw a rock at Lake Tahoe or go skiing in less than 5 minutes! Also 18 resorts arount the lake. Need I mention Squaw, Alpine Meadows and Northstar! Screw any where else good school good skiing!
yes, it is just one of the campus' w/ a dorm on campus, there is also one in dillion, breck, glenwood, edwards, aspen, leadville, and some other places
As far a big universities go with good business schools your two best choices are Univeristy of Nevada, Reno or University of Utah. There's also a bunch of smaller school like Sierra Nevada in tahoe, westminster in Utah and the mountain colleges in CO. There are also a few good ones in MT. What ever you do don't go to the east coast if you like skiing.
i got to usc in LA and its 2 hours to big bear and 5 hours to mammoth which isnt as bad as it sounds... plus you can get 99 dollar season pass to june mountain and mammoth might bring back a college season pass. USC is pretty hard to get into but its probably one of your best bets academically other then maybe Dartmouth or Colby in Maine.
Your ass needs to get to the rockies either the CO or the UT depends on what your looking for. I think UT has better powder and BC (even tho its smaller). CO has all the parks and recognition.
Its up to you playa where do you like to reside on the mountain
