cores in the TMs have softer wood but more fiberglass, therefore they have more flex and more pop, making them better for buttery stuff. the NBTs are similar to the Sprayer FS, just a straight up wood core thats solid, but not the best ski out there.

i have last years tms, they are nice and springy and are pretty good all mountain, however i just destroyed my edge, maybe beyond repair. make sure you check out the edges before you decide

nothing buts are for lighter skiers they are have more fiberglass in them so if you are really tall but not very heavy you can still handle a 180+
