you are both way to tense... this is supposed to be a trick where you relax and let your legs spread as far out as possible. it isn't supposed to be an x with your arms in the air too, both of you need some practice. if i had to give it to one of you though i would say the you win.

the obermeyer suit won the comp before it even started, but you would hav won wearing nothing at all, well if you did it naked youd have already won too, soooooo you would have won even if you were wearing the most nondescript outfit i can think of

my dad actually bit through his tongue when he was a teenager while skiing. he did the exact same thing with sticking his tongue out while jumping on his skis and he landed hard and bit right through. pain.

I'd say the bottom one, it looks to me like your pants were too low to get the full extention on the spread eagle. You'll get it one day, it comes with practice over the course of thousands of leg-spreadings.
