How can you change your IP address on a mac?
There are a lot of sites that check to see if you 2 accounts by checking IPs.. so I was wondering, if by switching your IP address back and forth, between 2, let's say, will it appear to those sites like you are two users, or will they still be able to tell it is the same computer?

you can't change it it is a number given to you by your ISP if you have a static IP it doesn't change if you have a dynamic ISP then it changes everytime you connect to the internet

So what are my options on trying to look like two users?
If I buy a cheapo dial up and have my broadband.. my IP would be different depending on which ISP I'm using right?

thats trciky connecting to the internet at the same time from 2 different things. why do you want to do this? just get a laptop and a router then you will have different IP's and with the router manager you can assign the last 3 digits of the IP

you cant just change your IP. Even if you have a dynamic IP generally the ISP has 24hr drop times so if you disconnect your modem you would have to be off for 24hrs at a time. This even applies to many dialup ISPs. You could use some annonymous browsing services but alot of those wont work if your trying to do gaming or something.
