Replying to Like i said..... why mus we make skiing go in the wrong direction?
im gonna let the us open and the x-games results back up my stance. Switch huck show at the open. (all the same generic spins)(with hype of switch 10's) Switch huck show at the x. (still all generic switch 10's)
Okay so for all you who caught the moto x big air at the winter x-games and witnessed the gayness thrown down, the way every one was throwing a backflip with a no handed no footed variation was just plain retarded.
Its so pointless for all the riders to huck the same thing because then it just comes down to who the judges like better. Its not about ability or technicallity, its about who looked "cooler"
If i ever went to the open or x and everyone was spinning to win or doing the same trick, i would just bust a 3 or a 1 or a switch cork 5, just something dirty smooth and totally unique. mainstream skiing has lost the majority of its individualality. When 24 out of 40 jumps thrown are the same trick, fuck that. To the guys like rory b, or pep, or for that matter any one who didnt huck a switch 10, major props.
I remember back when i first got into skiing, the image line portrayed was all about being and individual and doing your own thing and hands down skiing was going the right direction when it first started to get popular, but now everyone has lost the individual mind set and their out there to do the newest thing. I c more kids doin the tanner hall double grab now days than ever before.
People need to start focusing on their skiing and not giving a flying fuck on their image. Now more than ever skiing style is mimicking snowboarding like no other. The whole goggles under the helmet steeze with a little sag in their, fuck that and be your own person.
And finally, fuck switch 10's
