it really is, two years ago everyone was stoked on them and now that people are going them even more stylish its gay. someone came up and gave a 3 paragraph long reason last year about how 10s are gross and should be severely hated, and everyone followed. now im being a hypocrite here because i have a mild dislike of too many 10s but i can respect good ones. its gotten waaaaay out of hand!
not all switch 10s are gross. they are looking more like switch 7's now. but really you need to shut up! there is already like 450 threads on this, go work on ur switch 10
I think I might be in the minority, but I'm kind of sick of hearing people whine about big tricks being thrown. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean the pros shouldn't be allowed to. If you don't like it, nobody's forcing you to look at it.
i think it's an awesome trick...but is gettin a little played. i heard someone say it yesterday, it's what the judges want to see and the athletes are taking advantage of that...that's all
in comps they are done too often, but often its what will win the comp..
whatever way you want to look at it - it is a bloody hard trick to do, and im not sure what percentage of this site can ACTUALLY do a switch 10 but i give mad props to those that can.
if 3/4 of the field in a comp are doing switch 10's - that just indicates the level that newschool skiing is at today..5 years ago, it would have been considered rediculous to expect those sort of moves to be thrown by so many people..
now I agree that it is played and just too common (particularly in X) but this sort of thread probably used to happen with switch 7's & 9's like 18 months ago!
