What is Davos like? Anybody been there?

Just wonderin what everybody thought...no one seems to respond when anybody asks about it and I'm going there for spring break and i was wondering if i could get some info on it. Thanks for the help.

davos is good for party and has a nice pipe, also good freeride, but nothing special...for a nice park you can drive to Laax, it'll take you 45 min from Davos, for Freeriding Lenzerheide is nice, only like 30 min. away by car...

Its a pretty massive place with lots of other mountains close by that you can go to on the same ticket (can't remember there names off the top of my head). Most of the marked runs are pretty tame but if your prepared to explore there is some good stuff. It's also really expensive.

Hi!
I've been to Davos every year since I was a little kid. It's definatley the best resort I've ever been to(Having been to aroudn 10 places all around the alps adn some in sweden) As it's more expensive than places in France and Austria there are not as many skibums and therefore there is almost NO competition for the powder. And that's what makes Davos so good.
You can find untouched powder very near the slopes a week after snowfall.
The park is pretty good (in Jakobshorn)and the liftsystem is huge with all 6 monutains (250km of slopes). The village is super cosy and very old and genuinr. If I remmber right, Davos is one of the oldest ski resorts in the whole world, maybe the oldest. I'm not going there this year and I'm sorry for that. It's truly wonderful.
