Firefox Problems

A lot of times now I will try to load a page and firefox will say "unable to connect" then give me a list of reasons why it was not able ot connect. It is happening more and more frequently. I have shut off all my firewalls and it still happens, does this happen to anyone else? Is there anyway to fix it, because for instance I'm trying to pay with paypal right now and it won't let me get on.

yeah, i just updated my firefox, and now it doesnt work, and it wont let me delete it or anything... weird
