Low standards in NC

Our standards for big tricks in north carolina are very low. We consider a 360 to be the difficulty of a backflip and a backflip the difficulty of a Dspin 7 over chads gap. wow, we suck here.

WHOAH CHAMP!! Its not quite like that out here. We are all about style down here. If someone did a back that was ugly as hell, then no one would appreciate it at all. People can do more opshuns than you think. WAY WAY WAY more than just Backs and 3's!! You need to ride more often and see what its all about. Our standards for difficult tricks may be low (look at the slopes we have to ski), but our standards for style are as high if not higher than the rest of the world. Since we dont have the biggest hits to try shit, why not make the shit that we can do look good? BE PROUD OF NC! Dont go and diss it straight up. You need to come out more and ride with us yo!

I ski 4 days a week drew, i know what app is like. The truth is, most kids were in awe( including me) when we saw you and noah trying backflips. Thats what really inspired me that i suck and i went out and learned a mute 3 and 3 tail later that same day. lol, just thought id share my stupid comment.

Dude, if you ski 4 days a week, then come ride with me sometime!! i ski seven. Is it my Windbreaker that frightens you? haha probably. Im just saying dont even worry about any type of standards, why even care? Just ski for yourself and ski for fun, and dont let anything else affect your skiing

we probly never skied before because i was in 8th grade and you were a senior in high school. I saw you every time i went last year. Anyways, i wasnt into jibbng much until the very end of last year.

Good to hear that somebody else is like us.

We haven't been able to invert until this coming year, so people freak out when they see a 5. Hell, our snowboarders still think that skiers shouldn't be in the park, so if you grind a rail they don't even know what hit them. It'd be the equivalent shock value of grinding the golden gate bridge.

you don't really learn new stuff when your the best at your hill because no one is pushing you to go bigger. I'm the best at my hill and I suck.

yeah my hill sucks quite bad. the first time i landed a 3 there were these 2 indian dudes who i thought were going to shit their pants. they were going insane. people will comment on a tailgrab on of us did in the liftline. its the same with the snowboarders too, one time a guy did a backflip and everyone thought it was insane. but there are lots more jibbers coming this year so it will be sweet

You are dumb. obviously you haven't skied at app, cause if you did, then you'd know that backs aren't all that hyped up(lots of people can do em). don't degrade nc riders if you can't back up real facts. mad underground talent is coming out. I'm also sure that much crazier shit will be goin down this season.lata

Same as in CT....people blow their loads in their pants if we spin a cork something or other or a seven grab, or misty flip. its cool though, highly praised.

if your the best in the park its easy to push myself. When I learned 720s this year i had a ton of kids that were chearing me on.

It's not like that though the all say to me go do a 360 and then they are amazed so if im trying to impress them I don't need to do more than a 360. The best way to learn is to be pushed by people who know what they are talking about. I mean if everyone is in awe of you and your going up to a jump scared out of your mind you've got more of a reason to not do it. But if some one is giving you directions and is cheering you on then you've got a lot more confidence.
