buy them in a shop. if something happens to them, its way easier to warranty them through the shop you bought them from than online. plus you dont have to pay for binding mounts at most places if you buy skis. so that usually cancells out shipping costs. if its free shipping, dont be jewish and spend the extra 25 bucks to get them at a shop.
Thing is I'm from Holland and it's hard to get good back country freestyle ski's. Last couple years I bought my skis in Swiss cause we have a house there but I've the idea that its way more expensive there, u know swiss is such a expensive country:S. So u say pay the extra bugs for the shop or u know a good shop on the internet that has a good and fast delivery...
i would only buy them online if your local store had a website and didnt have your size ski in the store, but did online, the store i go to sells troublemaker packages for really cheap online, but they dont sell packages at the store
Online is WAY cheaper if you hunt for deals. I bought a pair of Dynstar Legends for $500 when they were $850 in store last season, when they were super popular. Warranty can be harder, contact manufacturer directly, if you bought from a legit online retailer it is fine. You may notice attitude from shop when you bring them in for a mount "dude why didn't you pay double for these here mannnnnnn?"
