He was also like one of two people who didin't cross his skis on the grab. He was the steeziest and he didn't care what score he got and in my book that makes him the winner.

the problem is that style is subjective, and higher ratings are a result of people understanding why one competitor won over another. when it is judged on amplitude and number of spins the retards at home can feel like they know what skiing is about, otherwise they have to watch exactly where a guy grabbed the nose of his ski, or memorize which way all of the skiiers spin naturally.
it sucks, but if skiing gets big it will be switch 1080 contests or crazier stuff even...
