So i'm thinkin about it and X-games is definitely about ratings...it was probably quite easy for them to turn it into a best trick comp when the guy they were advertising for the SS drops out (T hall). Why would X-games have any incentive? they just don't give a shit

Actually the reason they did big air was because it was too snowy and slow for slope, and the riders wanted to ride.

Yea it was snowy but they're SKIERS. i bet you ask any of those guys and they wanted to do the full course...it was a crappy decision by the x games

Yeah i was there there was a good 6 inches of powder. There was no way they could even remotly have enough speed to do the full course and not case every jump. Also today was the only time they had room for airtime on tv unless you want to tape delay it.

naw dude not true. i was there and my buddy asked Jon after they delayed the qualifying and he didn't think the comp would happen. they couldn't get speed for like 3 of the features

Why couldnt they re schedule like they did for the moto ho's?
Iam pissed at ABC , ESPN and fucking x games this year..all i see is snowboarding..almost all day..and then some moto backflips over and over..
